A1307 Cambridge South East Transport - Works on Linton High Street

***To minimise disruption to passing motorists while the work is carried out, CCC have requested that vehicles are NOT parked along the section of the High Street (when entering from the A1307) where the double yellow lines end up to The Crown (please see attached picture) whilst the temporary signals are operation (0930-1530).  Parking in this location during the time the temporary signals are in use would prevent safe passage of use for motorists and cause delays when entering/exiting the High Street.  Thank you in advance for your understanding and co-operation***

Works on the junction of the A1307 with Linton High Street are planned to start on 10 February for around 6 weeks.

We will be installing a new set of traffic lights at the junction to help road users travelling from Linton High Street onto the A1307 Cambridge Road. These new traffic lights will control road traffic and the pedestrian crossing and aim to make the junction safer for all road users.

Most of the work will be undertaken during the day between 9:30am and 3:30pm on weekdays only.

Please see the project's web page for further details of the road works.

If you have any concerns specific to construction, please contact Skanska’s project team on A1307schemes@skanska.co.uk  or telephone their 24-hour contact centre on 0330 105 1980.
